Welcome to the new website of the Cornwall Sports Hall of Fame.

The Sports Hall of Fame is located in the Civic Complex, overlooking the St. Lawrence River in downtown Cornwall.

The Sports Hall of Fame was created to celebrate the heritage of sport in the community, and to recognize the accomplishments and efforts of the many athletes and builders who have worked hard to promote their own individual sports.

Every two years, the Hall of Fame examines submitted nominations for inclusion into the Hall of Fame. Inductees represent a wide range of sports, and some of the more well known athletes include Newsy Lalonde, Cyril Denneny and Orval Tessier; and three Olympic Champion Gold medalists Lori Dupuis (hockey - 2002), Duncan Anderson McNaughton (high jump - 1932), and John C. Broderick (lacrosse - 1908); as well as four-time Grey Cup Champion Moe "The Toe" Racine.

We invite you to explore this website, and learn more about sports in Cornwall.

Be sure to browse through the profiles of athletes and builders in the Inductee Gallery, or visit us in person at the Civic Complex.

You can find the latest news about sports in Cornwall in the What's New section.

If you would like to make a cash donation, become a sponsor, or donate a sporting artifact for our memorabilia collection, we would love to hear from you!
