Alexander “Alex” Adams learned his lacrosse in Cornwall, where he played for senior teams. He was a tough and rugged defenceman.

He went west in 1910 and played for Calgary; he also played for the Alberta team winning the Championship the same year.

He came back east and played for Montreal for a time.

Alex moved back to Cornwall where he was an outstanding defenceman. He wore the Cornwall grey and blue for many years in the National Lacrosse Union and was considered a star.

He was born in 1885 and died in 1957.
