Edward (Eddie) Emerton

Edward “Eddie” Emerton, born in 1923, was known as “Big Ed”.

He advanced through the O.C.O.T. ranks, and then through the senior teams in Cornwall.

He turned pro playing for the Cleveland Barons, Buffalo Bisons, Tulsa Oilers, Dallas Texans, and with Fresno, California and Omaha, Nebraska. Eddie spent twelve seasons in Pro Hockey.

He also played lacrosse, baseball, and softball, and he coached.
