Ambrose (Rarie) Frederick Knight

Ambrose Frederick Knight, born 1913, was known as “Rarie.” He was an outstanding golfer. In 1935, he was a member of University of Toronto Golf team; this team won the Inter-Collegiate St. Lawrence Valley Championship.

Ambrose represented the Cornwall Golf and Country Club in 1930-1931, 1932, and 1933, winning the Ottawa City and District Championship.

He was Club Champion at the Cornwall Golf and Country Club for three years: 1932, 1933, and 1934.

He died August 5, 1937.
