Marmaduke (Marm) Loke

Marmaduke “Marm” Loke, born in 1880, started playing baseball with the Old Swastikas, and with the Teddy Bears, and the Emeralds.

Marm was a pitcher, and a good hitter.

He also played for the Canadian Cottons, and Ives Bedding Teams.

Marm, who played sports for 35 years, also played hockey and soccer.

He played hockey for the Sons of England, and followed sports his entire life.

(Note: a point of history tells us that until the Nazi’s made the swastika a symbol of evil, it was known in many cultures to represent life, sun, power, strength, and good luck for 3000 years).

He died July 26, 1971.
