Tammy Gratton-McAllister started as a gymnast in 1971 at the age of 4. She has continued in the sport as the Head Coach at the Cornwall Gymnastics Club up until now.

As a child, she trained under Patty Murphy for 20 hours per week. In high school, she competed for Cornwall Collegiate and Vocational School.

Some of her accomplishments include: Recipient of ‘All Round Athlete’ for 5 years from Cornwall Collegiate and recipient of “Gymnast of the Year” from the Lions Club in 1983 and 1986.

From Grade 9 to Grade 13 (1981-86), she placed 1st All-Around (the balance beam, uneven bars, vault, and floor) 6 times with OFSSA, SD & G, and EOSSA, also placing 2nd All-Around in ’82, and 5th All Around in ’81.
