Lyon Miller, born 1890, was one of the pioneers in forming the North End Softball League.
For years, Lyon never missed a meeting or a game. He was President for years and umpired in the league.
Always a big booster of all sports, he put up several trophies.
It has been said that Lyon donated the property where King George Park is located.
Lyon was on the Board of Directors of the famous Cornwall Flyers Hockey Team.
Lyon was one of Cornwall’s great sportsmen.
